Rebecca Reddin

Europe has been home for a decade in spite of my unshakable, albeit light, American accent. Along the journey from Missouri to China through France and Hungary to Spain, hosts and colleagues sparked a vision of helping this world get along better by amplifying the light we shine through the prism of crystal-clear words.
  • Master's degree in Translation Studies at Barcelona's Universitat Pompeu Fabra
  • B.S.  in Linguistics from Truman State University, (MO) USA

I'm a professional member of:

The lifeblood of La Rioja, my adopted home, has uncovered a personal passion that has inspired me to pursue specialized training in wine and the culinary arts, including:
  • AulaSIC's master's course in specialized translation on wine and the culinary arts
  • advanced courses in wine tasting organized by the Unión Española de Catadores wine tasting association (in Spanish)
in addition to continuous updating on good writing, intercultural topics, translation technology and more.
